What's the name of this tree/shrub?

I have a tall (over 6ft) green plant in my backyard and would like to know what it is. It has large leaves and thorns about an inch long. It's also aromatic. I've looked online to see if I could find it, but I've had no such luck. Does anyone know what this plant is?
