Is the nutcracker a very cristmas themed show?

There is nothing religious about the nutcracker. It involves a holiday Christmas party and a young girl falling asleep and having a dream of going to a magical land after receiving a Nutcracker as a gift. There is snow on stage and a sword fight with the mouse king. Lots of color and sparkle and beautiful costumes to delight as well as familiar music. It would not make them uncomfortable. The Rocketts Christmas on the other hand would make many Jewish people uncomfortable because of the heavy religious treatment at the end of the program.
