What does it mean when you see a white owl..HELP!?

My boyfriend and I where walking back home when i noticed a White owl flying over us, I didn't think much of it. Until three days later when I noticed the owl flying over us again What does It mean I am scared. Ive asked around and I get mixed signs (bad omens good omens) what can it be please help! (both viewing where after 8 at night it was pretty dark)
