Why do people always think I work there?!?!?!?!?

Are you carrying a purse? I know this sounds simple, but if you aren't carrying one, it makes you look like maybe you work there. Women out shopping are usually carrying a purse. I think people are asking you because it isn't always easy to find someone in a store to help you, so when people see a young person there without a purse, it looks like you probably work there because you have your stuff in the back like the other workers. If you are carrying a purse, I guess you just have an approachable look and those people aren't paying attention to details!
