Advice for sending cookies to Iraq?

what has worked for me in the past especially if they are deployed right now while it is getting cold. I have made the cookies and right after i put them in a ziplock bag and into the freezer. Then got one of the hot and cold bags and shipped it of in a flate rate and he got them in like a week in a half and they werent as hard....still eatable.
