5 month old whines and cries inconsolably all day long, please HELP me?

I know exactly how you feel. My daughter is 9 months old and is my 2nd child. I am also a stay at home mom and I nurse her. She did the samething, it seemed like the only thing that would keep her from crying was to nurse her. Of course I couldn't nurse 24/7, so as long as I knew she wasn't hungry, needed to be changed or burped I would put her in her crib and shut the door. Just so I could take a shower, do the dishes or laundry and get a moment to myself. She still does it occasionally, but not as often. Now that she is crawling and exploring it seems to be getting better. Hang in there and keep telling yourself it's not forever there is light at the end of the tunnel.
