Any one know anything about white lips?

My sister woke up the other morning with very pale lips. She was taken to the doctor in which they did some bloodwork. It was all fine. Four days later and her lips are still this very pale color. She isn't anemic nor does she have any cuts/wounds. The Doctor simply said that he has no clue what it could be...does anyone have any clue as to what this could be?
