Why do most (not all) women have very little moral accountability and conscientiousness?

i'm mean in general, there are always exceptions. when a woman does something screwed up, she usually rationalizes it, turn it around on you, or treat it as just some kind of innocent mistake. guys do this from time to time, but it's very rare that i hear from a woman, "you know what, you're right, i shouldn't have done that, i'm sorry." i usually hear, "huh?...oh...uhmm...yeah...whatever...ok… sorry." this question is mainly for the guys, cuz i know you ladies are just gonna get defensive.
