Do you need high school calc to be a successful biologist?

im going into conservation biology in uni this fall. i didnt think i would be going into science so i did not take any math courses in gr 12. i am taking advanced functions this summer, as it is a highschool prereq for the program. however, i am not taking calculas which means i cant take calc courses in university. i will be taking 2 stat courses and im pretty sure alot of my courses will involve math, which i will learn along the way. am i at a huge loss for not taking calc? btw, i am hoping to go into something like ecology/conservation biology/zoology/wildlife biology. thnks ^-^
