Circision controversy?

I think the circision of small babies is nothing short than a barbaric act. These tiny tots are to small to even complain . If an adult wishes to have the operation that's their choice. but is it surprising that 99% choose not to and who can blame them but these "brave" men would do it to a baby without a second thought.Would there be the same approval if this same thing was done to female babies ?
